A Glimpse of Brownsville

The Brownsville community offers libraries, hospitals and medical facilities, shopping malls, dozens of restaurants, and the other usual shopping establishments such as HEB, Walmart, etc. In addition, Brownsville is located near several historically significant sites, close to the Gulf of Mexico and South Padre Island. The community also offers interstate and coastal access and has an international airport with

flights daily.

Our facility is located in a historical community at 1415 W. Washington Street. We always welcome members of our community, those interested in the facility, and community leaders to visit us. Our building is owned by a non-profit partner, Abilities of Texas Unlimited, Inc., which has a goal to promote independence and support for people with intellectual disabilities.

Caring Palms Health Care provides ICF/IID services as outlined under the federal and state guidelines for ICF/IID programs. We offer 24-hour supervision for people with intellectual disabilities and related conditions. While our organization is a larger institutional-styled facility, our goal is to help people prepare for smaller ICF settings around the state or an HCS program.
